The reverse features Benedetto Pistrucci’s iconic design of St George slaying the dragon, now enhanced with micro-engraved text, including the motto “HONI SOIT QUI MAL Y PENSE”.
On the obverse, beneath the official portrait of Charles III, advanced security features have been added, such as a latent image and new patterns. The result is one of the most secure and tradition-rich Sovereign coins to date.
